Coronation Street reveals how Megan Walsh is caught out tonight
Coronation Street kicks off Sam Blakeman’s dark new storyline tonight – as he uncovers the shocking details of what Megan Walsh is hiding. The big moment takes place as Megan’s past comes back to haunt her, threatening to expose her sick web of lies.

Friday’s episode sees actor Oscar Aldersley take on the role of newcomer Lee, a teenage runner who used to be coached by Megan. Lee catches up with Will Driscoll ahead of an athletics meet, reminding him of how they often used to compete against each other in Hull.
There’s a playful rivalry between the two lads, but things take a more serious turn when Lee secretly calls Megan and leaves her an emotional message, telling her how much he misses her. For the first time, it’s confirmed that Will isn’t the first schoolboy who’s been groomed by Megan…
Megan reluctantly drags Lee off to the ginnel for a private chat, where she acknowledges their past. However, she insists that they must keep their distance as she’s now in a relationship with Daniel Osbourne.
“Lee, what we had was very special,” Megan says, slyly trying to manipulate him. “I’ll never forget it, or you. But I’m sorry, it’s over. Take care. Don’t call me, okay?”
Before Lee heads back home, he spills the beans to Will over his secret connection to Megan – and just how far it went.
When a disbelieving Will asks whether Lee slept with Megan, the newcomer replies: “Yeah, what did you think I meant?”
The pair continue to bicker, leaving Sam troubled as he emerges from the kebab shop nearby – and it’s clear that he overheard part of the conversation. Now deeply suspicious of Megan, what will Sam do next?
Coronation Street’s producer Kate Brooks previously teased: “[Sam] potentially gets wind that something’s amiss. We will see the lengths that Megan will go to in order to manipulate Sam and to keep him quiet, and it will be massively detrimental to Sam’s wellbeing.”
Coronation Street has teased a huge new death storyline, set to begin this spring in a special flashforward episode. The scenes will open with one Weatherfield resident being questioned by police after discovering a dead body, before revealing five characters who could potentially be the victim.
Producer Kate Brooks has strongly hinted that it will be a villain who meets their maker, revealing that the character in question has “created a lot of waves in the street” by the time they’re killed. Viewers, however, will be kept guessing throughout spring as the mystery unfolds.
But with suspicion falling in multiple directions, the big question is: which Corrie character will lose their life? Here are our current suspects…
