A white Rolls Royce had been parked outside the venue, which could mean the happy couple are driven off together in the plush motor following their nuptials.

Other snaps saw Sue and her co-stars driving around in a golf buggy to arrive at the wedding – with Jane Hazelgrove’s Bernie behind the wheel.

The bride to be looked elated, flashing a smile at the camera as the duo pretended to ride around in the two-person buggy.

It comes after Coronation Street gave fans a sneak peek at Catherine Tyldesley‘s return as Eva Price, as the character makes her Weatherfield comeback alongside her new family, The Driscolls.

Eva will be joined by her new husband Ben, played by Aaron McCusker, in the comeback scenes, which see the soap favourite character take over the Rovers Return.

Ben will surprise his wife by revealing he’s bought the pub, and tells her she’s the new landlady shortly after their arrival, putting her back in charge of the pub for the first time since 2018,

A teaser trailer shows the couple wasting no time settling into their new life, welcoming all the Weatherfield regulars for an opening party.

It’ll all get turned upside with the arrival of Ben’s mum Maggie, played by Pauline McLynn, who brings with her some shocking news for Eva.

As the trailer shows they waste no time in settling into the pub and welcoming all the regulars with a huge opening party but the arrival of Ben’s mum Maggie, Pauline McLynn brings some shocking news for Eva.

Reuniting with her sisters Leanne and Toyah, portrayed by Jane Danson and Georgia Taylor, as well as the neighbourhood’s familiar faces could also spark further drama.

Eva’s daughter Susie and Ben’s two sons Will and Ollie, played by Aurora Bradshaw, Lucas Hodgson-Wale and Raphael Akuwudike, will also join the cast.

Ollie is already known to Coronation Street fans, having dated Dee Dee for a couple of months, but not telling her about his family’s plans to move to the street.

ITV teased of the action: ‘It is safe to say the Price/Driscoll family will be arriving with a bang and a suitcase full of secrets.’

It comes after Catherine admitted she once would have killed to play the landlady of the Rovers Return in the run up to her soap return.

The actress, 42, played barmaid icon Eva Price from 2011 to 2018 but bid farewell to the show seven years ago when her character went to live in France with her daughter Susie.

When producer Kate Brooks reached out to the actress to propose a return to the role, Catherine admitted she assumed it could be the case of a funeral rather than a job offer.

Little did Catherine know, she was about to be offered one of the most desired roles in the soap world – the owner of the legendary fictional pub, The Rovers Return.

Coronation Street airs on ITV at 8pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and is available to stream on ITVX.
