Things sometimes happen fast — and we mean at the speed of light — on Bold & Beautiful! No sooner did Hope and Liam get engaged then

they found themselves standing in front of a fireplace, yet again, tying the knot. Not wanting to waste the romantic atmosphere in his living

room, Bill then dropped to one knee and proposed to Katie… declaring that he wanted to marry her that very night! But that’s not all. There’s another shocker coming and it’s something fans have wanted for years… and it, too, is set to materialize practically overnight.

 

 

Our jaws were still on the floor from watching Bill ask Katie to marry him, and we didn’t even have time to wonder if Beth would be called upon to officiate the second nuptials of the night, when the credits rolled and the sneak peek for next week aired. It seems a given that

 

 

Katie will say, “Yes,” to the dress… or at least to getting hitched because the preview teased Bill giving her a wedding gift.“But,” you might be thinking, “Katie only does public relations.” That’s right, but she ran Forrester Creations in the past… albeit for a very short time.

 

 

Nonetheless, the Logan will need some talented staff to be successful in this new venture. Both of her sisters work for the competition, and Brooke’s not likely to budge given she’s glued to the head dressmaker.Donna, however, might be persuaded to come on board with Katie if her husband Eric is recruited as the head designer for couture. And why not? He just walked away from his own company after being

 

 

thrown a “surprise” retirement party courtesy of his own son. Even though the two have made amends, Eric’s clearly at loose ends and already has a set of sketches ready to go. It’s a no-brainer.Who else will Katie be able to hire? Well, the sneak peek suggests that Thomas is returning and Hope’s not eager to work with him on Hope For the Future. Will she pick up her line and take it over to her Aunt Katie’s new establishment? It’s certainly possible, and quite likely she’d take her current designer, half-brother, Deke, with her.

All of this is setting up a Logan vs. Forrester fashion house rivalry, something Bold & Beautiful fans have been pushing for since Sally took her dream of revamping Spectra Fashions and bolted for Genoa City.
