Anticipated new spin-off of beloved Western drama casts Hollywood star in exciting update
One of the upcoming Yellowstone spin-offs has received some big updates.
Deadline reports that the previously-announced show, which will focus on Beth and Rip and will be the closest a spin-off has been tied to the parent show, is now going by the working title The Dutton Ranch.

The show has also added acclaimed Hollywood actor Annette Bening to the cast, joining the trio of Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Finn Little, who are all returning from Yellowstone.
The plot outline for the new is that Beth and Rip will try to balance the difficulties of keeping the ranch going in challenging economic times with raising Carter to be a well-rounded young man.
Bening will play a new character, Belulah Jackson, who is described as “powerful, cunning and charming” head of a huge, Texas-based ranch.
The question is, will she be an ally or adversary to our protagonists, or somewhere in-between?

At the rate this show it progressing, it looks like it will end up being the fifth show in the Yellowstone franchise to air.
So far, we’ve had the main show and two prequel shows, 1883 and 1923, which wrapped up in 2022 and earlier this year, respectively.
There’s also The Madison, which stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell and Patrick J Adams, and is set to premiere later this year.
Y: Marshals is due to air next year, with Luke Grimes returning as Kayce Dutton.
Two other spin-offs, 1944 and 6666, were also announced a few years back but there hasn’t been many updates about either.
The Dutton Ranch currently does not have a premiere window. The original show is available on Paramount+ and Netflix in the UK, and on Peacock in the US.
