A lavish wedding takes place next week in EastEnders but as expected, things do not go smoothly.

Peter Beale (Thomas Law) decided yesterday that in order to put passion and excitement back into his relationship, he was going to plan a surprise wedding to Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).

 

 

The problem is though, while Peter’s prep begins, Lauren is feeling doubtful about the relationship.

The opportunity to express any thoughts is quickly destroyed, as Lauren walks into the pub and sees Peter on one knee!

On the day of the wedding, Lauren remains anxious, but things are going to get even worse, as her dad Max Branning (Jake Wood) arrives.

 

 

The return of this troublesome face sparks challenges for Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), and let’s not forget Max has history with Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), which means that family will have a lot to say when they make it clear they know each other!

‘Seeing Max again gives Stacey the shock of her life’, star Lacey said.

‘She never expected to see him back in Walford, and she knows full well that whenever he’s around, there’s trouble!’ she told us, in what could be the month’s greatest understatement.

 

 

‘Max has always had this hold over Stacey that she has no control over. I don’t know what it is about those two, but they’re always drawn together.’

‘When Stacey sees Max and Zoe kiss, it’s such a shock,’ the popular actress, also known for Our Girl, sighed.

‘She had no idea they knew each other, let alone that they were a couple, so I think she’s in such disbelief. She feels betrayed by Zoe, but she’s reminded that this is typical Max behaviour as it’s what he always does!’
