‘General Hospital’ Recap October 14: Willow’s Stunning Accusation & Carly’s Confession Shakes Sonny
On today’s GH, Port Charles explodes with shocking twists as Willow turns on Michael, Ric wakes up to a nightmare, and Carly’s secret meeting with Liz raises red flags for Diane and Sonny.
General Hospital recaps for Tuesday, October 14 reveal Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) woke up to Kristina Corinthos-Davis, (Kate Mansi) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) bore bad news. Plus, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) accused Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) of framing her.
Today On General Hospital
Outback was exploring a cellar entrance when Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) arrived to join the dog and ventured inside; upon discovering Ric bound and gagged, Liz quickly untied him.
However, when he attempted to show his gratitude with a kiss, his savior transformed into Kristina, commanding him to “wake up.”
Ric opened his eyes, only to be disheartened to realize it had all been a dream — he was still restrained in Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement.
Kristina offered him a shake and reveled in the fact that the next day, they would reclaim all the money he had stolen.

Ric was incredulous that she had managed to evade consequences for attempted murder and kidnapping, with Ava Jerome (Maura West) even lending a hand.

Ric Continued Complaining To Kristina
“After all this time, you and your self-righteous mother were so eager to pass judgment from your high seat on Mount Superiority,” he sneered.
“But look at you now, wallowing in the dirt like the rest of us. How does it feel, Kristina, to realize you’re just as flawed as I am?” Kristina regretted tampering with his brakes, yet promised herself she would never stoop that low again.
Ric pondered how Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) would respond to her actions, and Kristina reminded him of his own misdeeds before swiftly gagging him once more.
Alexis Told Ava She’ll Be Glad When This Is Over
After a panicked Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) reached out to her from the police station, Ava Jerome, (Maura West) at Alexis’s law office — requested Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) to represent her friend.
She mentioned that her usual attorney was… “occupied” at that time. Once he left, Alexis expressed her eagerness for this prolonged ordeal to come to an end when they could restore the funds to the Cassadine trust.
She also wished that they could all set aside their grievances and finally progress. Alexis kept refreshing the webpage, anxiously awaiting the confirmation of the funds transfer.

Ava Confessed Perhaps She’d Gotten A Little Greedy
Ava expressed her frustration about having to resort to blackmail in order to reclaim her divorce settlement, acknowledging that perhaps she had been a bit too greedy.
When Kristina arrived with news about Ric, Ava gave her the key to the storage unit that held the evidence of her wrongdoing, despite the money not yet having been transferred.
She recognized that it was time to put an end to the conflict, and both women exchanged heartfelt apologies, ultimately deciding that a handshake was a more fitting gesture than a hug.
Ava and Kristina’s conflict went back a couple of years, with Kristina blaming her for the loss of the baby she was carrying as a surrogate.

Cody And Molly Talk
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) went up to Molly at Bobbie’s, and she chatted about Outback before inquiring about lariats.
She avoided his questions by saying she was researching, but when she tried to shift the topic to Cody’s rodeo background, her phone rang. Later, Liz came to see Molly and updated her on Willow’s arrest.
Molly couldn’t provide more details, but Liz was keen on locating Ric to assist Willow; Molly expressed her frustration about not hearing from her dad, and they both found his absence concerning.
Meanwhile, Cody tracked Outback to the cellar door, where the dog began barking, and inside, Ric was trying to shout through his ball gag.
Martin Bore Bad News
Martin stopped by Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house to report that the PCPD had made an arrest. A thrilled Drew gloated about how he wished he could’ve seen Michael in cuffs, but Martin revealed it was actually Willow who was taken in.
He didn’t know what they had on her, but reminded Drew that it wouldn’t be easy to get her out on charges of attempting to murder a congressman.
Drew didn’t want to hear it and rushed him off to represent Willow, then placed an urgent call. Later, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) arrived and feigned concern as Drew complained that Willow had been arrested instead of Michael.
Drew Has A Realization
Drew stated he was aware that Jenz had bribed Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) and wanted him to make it seem like Michael had paid off the judge.
Drew also wanted it to seem like he killed her to keep it under wraps, and then came after him.
Sidwell believed it was a solid plan, but it was too late because the police already suspected Drew had bribed the judge after discovering the documents in his safe.
Drew called that absurd, but Sidwell maintained there was nothing he could do. Drew suddenly realized Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had set him up, which gave Michael another motive to shoot him so they would find the receipt in his possession.
Sidwell Double Crosses Drew
Drew then accused Sidwell of killing the judge, and Jenz laughed before cautioning Drew to be careful because he had proof linking him to several crimes.
Drew was enraged that Sidwell had betrayed him, and Jenz reassured him that as long as he followed orders, he would be okay. “From now on, you work for me,” he told the congressman; “Step out of line and see your life fall apart.”
Needless to say, Drew looked like he was thinking about putting a hit on someone else and it definitely wasn’t Sonny, although that thought may have crossed his mind as well!

Sonny And Carly Tell Michael Nina Was Arrested
Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) arrived at the Quartermaine mansion to inform Michael about Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) arrest.
Michael told his parents that Willow had been taken into custody during their supervised visit with the children.
When Sonny asked if he was aware that this would happen, Michael expressed that he was unaware and felt offended that his father would think he would plan something like that.
Carly was concerned about Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko), but Michael reassured them that the kids had calmed down once they got home.
Sonny inquired about the evidence the police had, but Michael was indifferent because Drew’s shooting was unrelated to them; his main focus was on his children.

Diane Miller Arrives And Gives Counsel
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) arrived and informed everyone that Willow and Nina’s alibi was crumbling, and Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun was discovered in Willow’s room at Liz’s house.
The attorney questioned how she obtained the weapon, and Sonny expressed doubt that Willow took the gun when she moved out months ago.
Michael reminded them that they don’t know when she could have taken the weapon. Sonny suspected the gun was planted and asked if anyone had visited Liz’s home recently.
When he looked at Carly, she retorted that if he wanted an answer, he would need to marry her.

Diane Pressed Carly And Michael On The Question If They Had Been At Liz’s
When Diane pressed her, Carly confessed that she had visited Liz and said they were together the entire time.
Both Sonny and Diane confronted her, leading Carly to admit that Liz had left her alone (when she went upstairs to take a call from her plumber).
Nevertheless, Carly said she didn’t plant the gun; Diane then turned to Michael, who acknowledged that he had gone to Liz’s to discuss seeing the kids, and he too had been left alone.
After hearing this, which occurred after the police attempted to search the Quartermaine estate, Diane expressed concern that Martin could establish reasonable doubt by demonstrating that both of them had a motive.
Not only to shoot Drew, but to frame Willow-the lawyer was uncertain about their next steps but cautioned, “Willow may be the one facing arrest, but Michael and Carly’s troubles are just starting.”

Nina Was Horrified To Find Out Willow Had Been Arrested In Front Of The Children
When Willow was taken to the police station, Nina was shocked to find out that her daughter had been arrested in front of Wiley and Amelia.
She lashed out at Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), accusing the ADA of being on Sonny’s side and working for the Corinthos family, insisting that Michael should be the one in custody.
Marco came and explained that he couldn’t represent both mother and daughter. Nina was adamant that he should look after Willow when Martin arrived to help her, which relieved Nina greatly.
Justine then presented Marco and his client with the security footage that proved Nina was in her apartment at the time of Drew’s shooting.
Justine Advised Marco Nina Was Charged With Conspiriacy
The lawyer highlighted that this demonstrated her innocence, but Justine remarked that Nina was accused of conspiracy because they think she and Willow plotted Drew’s shooting.
She brought up Nina’s relationship with Drew and claimed he was responsible for Willow losing custody of her kids, before listing her numerous past offenses, including taking Ava’s newborn baby.
Nina maintained that her daughter was not a murderer, and Justine replied, “From what I’ve seen, some mothers will go to any lengths to defend their children.”
Later, Nina urged Marco to find a way to say that the footage was tampered with, but he advised that if she wanted to save her daughter, she needed to be honest.
All Nina’s suggestion would do is make her look more guilty if it were analyzed and found not deep-faked.
Martin Counsels Willow
In the interrogation room, Willow told Dante that she loved Drew and would never harm him, as Dante recommended she reach out to her lawyer.
Willow was unaware of Ric’s whereabouts and expressed her frustration about being arrested in front of her children.
Martin arrived and told Willow that Drew had sent him, then asked Dante for some privacy with his client.
Once they were alone, Martin informed Willow that the bullets from Drew’s shooting matched those from Edward Quartermaine’s gun, which had been discovered in her room at Liz’s house.
Martin reassured her that Drew didn’t believe she shot him and promised to advocate for an immediate hearing to get her released as soon as possible.
Willow Accuses Michael Of Framing Her
At the station, Chase was distressed to find out that Willow had been arrested in front of the children; Dante reassured him that Michael was there to look after them.
The detective warned Chase to maintain his distance, as his feelings for Willow could jeopardize the case. After Martin exited the interrogation room, Chase requested Justine to allow him to update Willow about her kids, and she consented.
Dante was taken aback, but Justine revealed that Willow might be more inclined to confess to someone she trusts, when asked, he said he believed Chase would inform him if Willow said anything.
They observed through the window as Chase said Wiley and Amelia were okay and to stay strong, then said, “But Michael set me up. He planted that gun!”
