The couple, who play married pair Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan on-screen, looked completely at ease and deeply in love as they posed for photographers, sharing cuddles and laughter throughout the evening.

Ada, 48, turned heads in a strapless black-and-white gown that hugged her figure perfectly. She paired the look with strappy heels, a designer clutch, and delicate jewelry, while keeping her makeup glowing and natural with a soft pink lip. James, 49, opted for effortless charm in a white shirt, blue jeans, and brown boots, proving that simplicity can still make a statement.

A Love Story 25 Years in the Making

The couple’s romance has been one of soapland’s most heartwarming off-screen stories. After 25 years of friendship, Ada and James began dating in early 2024, and by April this year they celebrated their one-year anniversary.

Ada shared a rare glimpse of their relationship online, posting a sweet photo collection from a celebratory dinner at Mimi’s in Sydney, complete with oysters, caviar, and champagne. “Just perfect,” she captioned the post, marking a milestone she said she was “really proud” of.

Speaking to Stellar Magazine, Ada explained, “I don’t like to post a lot of stuff about us online but, at the same time, I’m really proud of the last year we’ve had.”

Earlier this month, Ada and James enjoyed a wholesome night out with their blended family, taking their children—James’s daughter Scout, 13, and Ada’s son Johnas, also 13—to see Rent at the Sydney Opera House.
