Home and Away Spoilers – Irene makes a big change to her exit plans! (6)
Harper finally reaches her breaking point. Her patience, already stretched thin by Jo’s constant meddling, snaps as Jo proudly presents the details of the rental she’s found. To Jo, it’s a grand gesture of goodwill, but to Harper it feels like one more invasion of her personal boundaries — a reminder that Jo doesn’t trust her to handle her own life.
Her voice sharp and unflinching, Harper makes herself crystal clear. “For the last time, I don’t need your help,” she snaps, her words cutting through the tension like a knife. “What I need is for you to get the hell out of my house.” The outburst is raw and charged with weeks of pent-up frustration, her expression leaving no room for misunderstanding.

Jo freezes, blindsided by the ferocity of Harper’s reaction. For a moment, she’s speechless, her attempt at reconciliation crumbling before her eyes. What she thought would be an olive branch has backfired spectacularly, leaving her standing awkwardly in the doorway, unwanted and unwelcome.
Meanwhile, Harper’s chest heaves as she steadies herself, her glare unwavering. In that moment, she’s not just defending her home — she’s reclaiming her dignity and drawing a line in the sand. Jo’s interference has crossed too many boundaries, and Harper is determined to take back control of her life, no matter how messy or difficult that road might be.

Still fuming from her confrontation with Jo, Harper wastes no time in seeking out Tane. Bursting in on him, she lets her frustration spill out unchecked, her words sharp with anger. She demands that he take responsibility and make sure Jo stays well out of her business once and for all. The bitterness in her tone leaves no doubt that Harper has reached the end of her tether. For her, Jo’s interference isn’t just irritating — it’s invasive and deeply personal, and she won’t tolerate it any longer.
Tane, caught off guard by the force of Harper’s fury, is left stung. He knows Harper has every right to be upset, but hearing the raw emotion in her voice forces him to reconsider how much Jo’s actions have complicated an already fragile situation. For Tane, the message is clear: if he wants to protect any sense of peace between himself and Harper — not to mention stability for Archie — then he has to draw a line.

Later, Tane arranges to meet with Jo, though she arrives under the impression that it’s a chance for them to spend some time together. The disappointment on her face is obvious when she realises this is not a date, but rather a difficult conversation. Tane, calm but firm, lays it all out. He tells Jo that her efforts to fix things, however well-intentioned, have only made matters worse. Harper is never going to forgive her or look past the disruption she’s caused, regardless of whether Jo meant harm or not.
The words land heavily, leaving Jo crestfallen. What she had hoped would be the beginning of something meaningful with Tane instead feels like the closing of a door. For Tane, though, the decision is necessary — his priorities are clear, and Harper’s trust, along with Archie’s stability, comes first.
