When Nigel and Julie discover that their chickens have been killed by foxes, they are both left feeling upset. To make matters worse, Nigel and Julie then learn that Nigel accidentally caused the tragic incident. This moment of realisation triggers a marital argument as Nigel becomes worked up about his lack of memory.
Later, Julie continues to answer mystery phone calls which leads Nigel to harbour suspicions. While Julie claims that her exchange is about a potential job opportunity, the conversation stirs up old feelings for Nigel.
As a result, Nigel asks Phil to accompany him to the countryside for a day.
As Jack weighs up his next move after the shooting, Denise feels suspicious towards her husband.
Before long, DS Spencer arrives, so Jack lies about his location on the night that a gun was fired. Afterwards, Denise continues to question Jack about his behaviour.
Will she draw any information out of him?
At The Albert, Eve falls victim to a verbal and physical homophobic attack, which leads Callum to intervene at speed. But when the copper sets eyes on the perpetrator, he discovers that it’s his dad, Jonno.
After being arrested, Jonno insists that he’s innocent and blames his friend, which leaves Callum questioning whether his dad is telling the truth. Although, Eve is certain that Jonno is to blame.
Next, Suki arrives to support her wife through her time of distress. As relations start to thaw between the couple, will they rekindle their love for each other?
