The countdown is on for one of Summer Bay’s biggest events—Cash Newman and Eden Fowler’s wedding. With only days to go, the couple should be caught up in joy and excitement. Instead, nerves, last-minute mishaps, and a few too many surprises are making the lead-up far more stressful than either of them imagined.

Since his return to the Bay last week, Cash has thrown himself wholeheartedly into the wedding preparations. But rather than feeling reassured, he’s been met with chaos. Celebrant Jon is on edge, struggling to organize a joint meeting with both bride and groom. With Eden away in the city, busy dress shopping with her sister Abigail and mother Deb, Jon’s plans have been falling apart, leaving him more flustered than ever.

Unfortunately for Eden, the shopping trip hasn’t been smooth sailing either. The perfect gown she’d found earlier turned out to be well beyond her budget, and with the big day looming, most other boutiques couldn’t deliver anything suitable in time. Luckily, her brother Levi came to the rescue. Teaming up with Deb, he secretly purchased the dream dress and gave Eden the fairytale moment she thought she’d lost.

But with the gown sorted, a new problem emerges—Eden’s vows. While Cash has already written his, Eden has yet to begin, and the pressure of standing at the altar with nothing to say is starting to get to her. Actress Stephanie Panozzo tells TV Week: “Eden’s thrilled about marrying Cash, but she’s also overwhelmed. Weddings just aren’t her vibe. She never pictured herself as the bride, so planning one feels really out of her depth.”

Her anxiety only worsens when she tries—and fails—to sneak a look at Cash’s vows. The little she learns about them makes her worry even more. What if Cash stands up in front of everyone they love and says something awkward? What if his words miss the mark entirely? Instead of reassured, Eden finds herself dreading the moment she hears them.

As if vows weren’t stressful enough, Eden soon learns that Abigail has planned an over-the-top 24-hour pre-wedding celebration. Cash and Eden have never been ones to chase the spotlight, and both would rather keep things low-key. Cash even asks Abigail and Tane to cancel their elaborate plans so he and Eden can share some quiet time together. But Abby and Tane have other ideas.

Convinced that the couple deserve one last hurrah before saying “I do,” they secretly organize a joint pre-wedding bash at the farmhouse. Pulling some strings, they lure Cash and Eden there under false pretenses, only to surprise them with a full-scale party. Friends gather, drinks are poured, and soon Dana and Sunny are lighting up the dance floor, ensuring the festivities get off to a lively start.

But while Cash tries to relax and go along with it, Eden’s mind is elsewhere. She can’t stop obsessing over the vows, convinced they hold the key to how their big day will unfold. As the music plays and laughter fills the room, Eden slips away unnoticed, determined to dig deeper and uncover Cash’s words before the ceremony.
