Home and Away Spoilers — Ru & Harper Clash, Adrienne’s Shocking Visit, and Irene’s House Sale
The week in Summer Bay kicks off with high tension, family drama, and life-changing decisions. From Ru’s ongoing battle with Adrienne, to Cohen caught in the crossfire, and Irene facing the heartbreaking reality of selling her beloved home, emotions are set to boil over. Here’s what to expect.
1. Ru & Harper support Cohen
Ru wants nothing more than to protect young Cohen from the chaos surrounding his parents. Acting as the peacemaker, she gently sends Cohen upstairs so she can have a private word with Harper. But Cohen, still anxious and curious about his fractured family, secretly lingers on the staircase and overhears their tense conversation. What he hears shakes him—Ru and Harper are divided over Adrienne. Harper argues that Cohen deserves the chance to know his father, while Ru fiercely disagrees, warning that Adrienne’s track record proves he can’t be trusted. The disagreement escalates, leaving Cohen deeply unsettled.

Meanwhile, Adrienne himself is having second thoughts about the way he has handled his relationship with his son. After an emotional talk with David, who offers some fatherly guidance, Adrienne feels a surge of determination. David’s words hit home: Cohen needs consistency, not abandonment. For the first time in a long while, Adrienne resolves to reach out to Cohen and try to rebuild their fragile bond—no matter how unwelcome he may be in Ru’s eyes.
2. Ru turns on Adrienne
Things reach boiling point when Adrienne shows up at Ru’s house without warning. Instead of a warm reunion, he’s met with fury. Ru is absolutely livid, her patience finally snapping. She orders him to leave immediately and even threatens to call the police if he refuses. Her words cut like a knife, leaving Adrienne stunned but unwilling to back down.

The confrontation quickly escalates as Harper rushes to intervene. Harper, though far from Adrienne’s biggest supporter, is horrified at Ru’s heavy-handed reaction. She issues a stern warning: if Ru keeps interfering in Cohen’s relationship with his father, she will have no choice but to report her behavior. Harper knows Cohen deserves the chance to make up his own mind, and she won’t allow Ru’s bitterness to rob him of that. But with tempers flaring and loyalties divided, it’s clear the battle between Ru and Harper is only just beginning.
3. Irene’s house is sold
Elsewhere in the Bay, Irene is blindsided by devastating news—an offer has been made on her treasured beach house. The reality of selling sinks in, and for a moment, she feels utterly lost. Memories flood back of the life she built within those walls, and the thought of letting go is almost too much to bear.
Harper and Dana rally around her, offering comfort and encouragement. They remind her that she has always dreamed of traveling the world, and now may be the perfect opportunity to embrace that adventure. Slowly, Irene begins to realize that following her dreams may mean leaving her home behind. She picks up the phone, calls the estate agent, and confirms her decision.

Later, Harper reveals to Dana that Tane has offered her and Archie a place to stay, a gesture that leaves her both touched and conflicted. She declines for now, unwilling to complicate things further, but Dana gently nudges her sister, suggesting it might be time she started dating again. Harper laughs off the suggestion, but her thoughtful expression hints that Dana’s words have struck a chord.
With families fractured, homes changing hands, and relationships pushed to their limits, Summer Bay is once again bracing itself for a week of emotional upheaval.
