Is Wyatt Spencer on his way back to The Bold and the Beautiful? Actor Darin Brooks seems to be teasing the possibility. While speaking to

Soaps.com at the red carpet premiere of A Murder Between Friends, the B&B alum walked down memory lane as he discussed Hope and Wyatt’s wedding in Monaco and teased whether he’ll be making an appearance on the soap down the line.

 

 

Wyatt (Brooks) and Hope’s (then played by Kim Matula) impromptu destination wedding was a moment on B&B. The pair got married on Bill’s (Don Diamont) yacht, the Stella Maris, after Hope had been let down by Liam (Scott Clifton) one too many times. The story-shifting scene, however, owes its stunning location to the soap’s leading lady, Katherine Kelly Lang.

In his interview with Soaps, Brooks spoke to how the yacht became Hott’s marriage spot. He said, “The boat makers were trying to sell it, and they were fans of Katherine Kelly Lang. They saw her down at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, and they invited her to see the boat.

Lang accepted the invitation and took EP Casey Kasprzyk with her to enjoy the experience. When the duo saw the 200-foot boat, they were amazed and asked if the soap could film on the ship. The rest is B&B history.

Brooks didn’t give a definitive “Yes” when talking about Wyatt reuniting with his family. But the actor did state, “Everybody’s asking about it. I can’t say. I don’t know. Maybe. We’ll see. We’ll see. There could be something coming up. We’ll see,” which seems to be a positive sign.

He made a similar statement when speaking to Michael Fairman at the premiere, who’d mentioned how much Don Diamont would like Brooks back on the show. After joking about his former co-star not getting back to his text, Brooks said, “You never know,” when answering whether he’d be up for making a return. He couldn’t say anything more, but did promise to speak about what he could discuss off-camera with Fairman.

Both teases do seem to give the impression that if we don’t see Wyatt Spencer make an appearance soon, we may see him at some point this year. Fingers crossed. Until then, Brooks fans have his new movie, The Roaring Game, to look forward to.
