Coronation Street to resolve Jodie’s baffling mystery link to Emmerdale’s Graham Foster

Coronation Street will resolve the baffling mystery link between newcomer Jodie Ramsey and Emmerdale’s Graham Foster. The character made her debut in the Corriedale crossover last month, where she was seen captive in the back of Graham’s van.

Jodie has since been confirmed as Shona Platt’s sister, though has also been showing increasingly suspicious behaviour since her arrival in Weatherfield.

The lingering mystery of why she was held by Graham is yet to be unveiled, though Jodie actor Olivia Frances Brown has promised that fans will get answers in due course.

“Eventually, you will, can’t give away too much right now, but it will all become clear in time,” she told the Radio Times. “I can’t say how long, how much time, but eventually, if you keep watching, you’ll find out why.”

Show producer Kate Brooks has also teased the resolution of the mystery, confirming last month that viewers will “find out exactly why she was in that van”.

“We’ll find out what her link to Graham is,” she added. “From my time when I worked at Emmerdale, Graham was a character with a murky past who was capable of many things. For Jodie to be embroiled with somebody of that ilk sheds a light on what kind of character she is and what to expect.

“We will absolutely reveal what went on between them and what Graham’s role was in it all. Keep a lookout for it, because it’s story that goes on to be really big as we get into spring and summer. There’s a lot of drama for the Platts coming up!”

Meanwhile, scenes next week will see Jodie’s strange behaviour continue as she pulls out a secret locket, while David Platt starts to see some major red flags.
