All over for EastEnders’ Ravi amid brutal attack and serious promise
The net starts closing in on an already unravelling Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) in EastEnders next week, as Mark Fowler Jr (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) gets closer to uncovering his police informant secret.
In recent weeks, Ravi has been feeding the police information about his criminal associates after striking a deal with local copper Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to keep him out of prison over his cuckooing plot involving Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway).

As chance would have it, it turns out that the recently returned Mark Jr is wrapped up in the organised crime gang that Ravi is now grassing on.
Having been accused of being the rat himself, Mark has been determined to find out who is spilling the tea to the police, which has spelt trouble for Ravi.
Meanwhile, Ravi has started to self-harm, struggling with his mental health after realising he was responsible for the recent attack on his teenage son Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) while high, after a vengeful Harry and his mum Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) drugged him.
But next week, it starts to look like it’s all over for Ravi he discovers Mark is hunting down the informant.
Not only that, but there is also some devastating news from the hospital about Nugget…
It all begins on Monday when Ravi meets Jack to give an update and explains he’s meeting a new contact, only to discover Mark is the new contact and is rattled by his questions.
Later on, Nugget is rushed to hospital after experiencing a seizure, and tests quickly suggest he has developed epilepsy.
A spiralling Ravi is devastated to think he may have caused his son to develop a lifelong condition and heads to drown his sorrows at Harry’s Barn.
While at the club, he bumps into Mark, and the pair clash with a group of men who’ve been hitting on Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams).
Mark is impressed when Ravi saves his skin and tells Ravi more about his promise to find the informant in the gang.
A panicked Ravi later confides in his partner Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy), who is furious that he has been working for the police.
However, the couple are forced to put their issues aside when they receive a call from the hospital.
But the clock is ticking for Ravi, who will have to take urgent action over Mark’s mission. Will he manage to outsmart Mark, or is Walford’s most muscled man about to find himself in serious danger?
