Watch out, Genoa City, because one of the town’s most unhinged baddies is coming back! TV Insider is reporting that Stacy Haiduk is about to bring Paul’s unstable little sister, Patty Williams back to The Young and the Restless for the first time since 2016.

We suppose it isn’t a huge surprise since, when last we saw her, she was trying to flee town with Mariah’s current imaginary tormenter Ian Ward. Patty didn’t quite escape, though, and ended up tossed back into a mental institution, where we would hope she got help.
Because while she’s definitely one of the more notorious villains of the show, there’s always a tragic element to Patty’s appearances as she has clear mental issues, from her obsession with Jack (her first husband who had an affair with his current-wife, Diane) to her stuffed cat (as in taxidermied, not a toy) Mr. Kitty who went everywhere with her.
There’s no hint just yet as to what storyline will bring Patty back on our screens, but since she’s been in an institution, rather than dead, we’re expecting her to be back, in the flesh, and causing real trouble once again!
