Emmerdale’s Kim Tate issues Graham warning – as his future is revealed

Emmerdale’s Kim Tate spies an opportunity to cause trouble tonight – by dropping a bombshell on Marlon Dingle over Graham Foster’s future. Marlon had hoped that Graham’s shock reappearance in the village would just be a flying visit, but there’s no such luck.

Friday’s episode sees Kim left horrified when she realises that Graham has succeeded in his mission to win over Joe. Graham had always made it clear that he’d like to stick around in the village for Joe’s sake, after initially coming back to help April Windsor.

Graham has clearly made speedy progress, as Joe informs Kim that he has invited his former right-hand-man to stay in one of the guest rooms at Home Farm until further notice.

Kim shuts down the idea and accuses Joe of “disloyalty”, but knows deep down that this could be the price she needs to pay to keep her family together.

Later at The Woolpack, Kim vents her concerns to Marlon – knowing that he’ll be just as annoyed over Graham’s intentions.

After marching into the pub kitchen, she observes: “I take it you haven’t heard, then. Graham is staying.”

When Kim mistakenly suggests that Marlon’s wife Rhona must already know about this, she continues: “I’m merely pointing out that Rhona hasn’t exactly been upfront where Graham is concerned. I thought you had a right to know.

“Both our lives would be better off without him around. Be honest – you can’t be thrilled he’s back.”

Later, Kim finds herself outnumbered at Home Farm as Joe and Dawn Fletcher are both on board with giving Graham another chance.

It’s agreed that Graham can stick around at the mansion, with Kim’s reluctant blessing. But will he bring chaos to the iconic estate? And is this bad news for Marlon and Rhona’s marriage?

Andrew Scarborough, who plays Graham, recently spoke to us about the possibility of his character’s romantic connection to Rhona being revisited.

“Obviously she would have to forgive him first,” Andrew mused. “Plus, her relationship with Marlon is very strong. But Graham did love her. He has been away, and probably has lived quite a lonely life, because he’d have had to go from country to country doing his various jobs that he does freelance.

“So I would imagine he probably still hankers after her and probably is still in love with her. Watch this space!”
