The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may have a matchmaker twist coming up. Will Steffy help Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) move on from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) once she returns to Los Angeles?

Despite Ridge’s poor treatment of Taylor, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has been struggling to let go of his happy family dreams.

It was easier for Thomas to unleash his wrath on Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and act like she was the problem.

However, Ridge is the one who made the decision to break Taylor’s heart once more.

That’s because Ridge finally listened to what his own heart was telling him and reunited with his true love.

Steffy has played matchmaker for Taylor and Ridge in the past, but she may change her tune after her mom’s latest round of devastation.

It’d be nice to see Steffy want to protect Taylor this time around and make sure Ridge never hurts her like that again.

B&B fall preview spoilers indicate that Steffy will indeed support Taylor and express concern over how things went down with Ridge.

It definitely sounds like Steffy will be fully on “Team Taylor” and could perhaps ditch the idea that her parents still belong together.

Steffy may believe Brooke’s going to disappoint Ridge, but she might also see that he’s never going to break out of this cycle.

Maybe Steffy will determine that Brooke really is Ridge’s destiny – at least in the sense of being destined for perpetual Brooke drama.

Steffy has seen Taylor hurt enough times to hopefully realize this is all she’s going to get with Ridge.

If Steffy wants Taylor to find real romantic bliss and make it last, it’s not going to be with Steffy’s father.

That’s why a matchmaker twist could be on the way if Steffy decides to set Taylor up with someone else.

Steffy might finally wise up and see that Taylor deserves better than Ridge, so she could help Taylor move on when she’s ready.

Whether Steffy gets Taylor on a dating app or sets her up with some handsome corporate type that she knows, there’d be some easy ways for Steffy to get involved here.

Taylor might balk at her daughter fixing her up with someone, but Steffy might be adamant about her mom putting herself back out there.

Since we know Taylor will be heading down a new romantic path in the coming months, Steffy could pave the way for that.

Even if Steffy’s matchmaking efforts don’t work out, she could at least open Taylor’s mind to the possibility of dating and truly moving on from Ridge.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor will make some updates to her love life, so Steffy will hope for good news!
