Young and the Restless comings and goings: Baddie back, new son cast
Check out the latest comings and goings casting news from The Young and the Restless. Find out if any popular stars from yesteryear are
boarding the show this week or in the near future, if any newcomers are joining the soap in contract, recurring, or day-player roles, or if any of your favorite actors or actresses are leaving the CBS drama.

Ray Wise returns as the evil Ian Ward. The former cult leader continues to haunt Camryn Grimes’ Mariah on Tuesday, January 27. Grimes recently shared her thoughts about working with the veteran actor.
Ethan Ray Clark has taken over the role of Dominic Winters, Abby (Melissa Ordway), and Devon’s (Bryton James) son. The daytime newcomer, who replaced Rainn and River Ware, debuted in the role last week.
Melissa Ordway is back as Abby Newman Winters. She shares scenes with her TV hubby and son, the aforementioned James and Clark, on Tuesday, January 27. Ordway, who was taken off contract by the CBS soap in 2025, has been getting more screen time of late.
The spoiler photos for the Monday, January 26, 2026, episode of The Young and the Restless focus on a get-together at Sharon’s, where there are hugs, smiles, and Sharon worrying.
The Y&R photos for January 26 include Sharon (Sharon Case) hugging her son. Now that Victor (Eric Braeden) has taken care of Roger Howarth’s Matt Clark (hopefully), Sharon, Nick (Joshua Morrow), Noah (Lucas Adams), and Sienna (Tamara Braun) can mostly relax. The four are looking more peaceful. Even Nick, who is sporting a cane instead of a crutch, is looking better. It was rough going there for a while. And Sienna and Noah are sticking close together.
Despite the smiles and hugs, there will be lingering drama and burning questions. Has Matt really been handled? According to the weekly spoilers, Sharon worries about Noah’s future with Sienna. When a couple goes through intense drama, they may not come through intact on the other side. But there’s also the fact that Nick was popping pills while he tried to take care of Matt himself. What’s the status of his pain threshold? Will he become dependent on the pills he used to lessen the pain of his broken leg? Or is all of that mess behind him?
