Taylor’s kidding herself if she thinks Sheila won’t come gunning for her once the truth about her and Deacon is exposed, but as we all know, when this particular madwoman becomes unhinged, not only does anyone standing in her way risk becoming collateral damage, but we’re also dealing with twisted logic and obsession.

That means Deacon himself could be in grave danger. In their glee over their dad falling for someone other than Sheila, Hope and Deke are forgetting what kind of maniac they’re dealing with… Deacon’s not simply going to be able to move on. As SOAPS reader Soapsbest17 warned, “Shelia might decide if she can’t have him no one can and take him out.”

That this is even a possibility instantly puts Deacon’s kids in the line of fire. Not only are they cheering for Sheila to lose out to Taylor, but either Hope or Deke is bound to try and get between her and Deacon if she does go off the rails and try to rub him out.

Also in the line of fire as collateral damage are Steffy and Finn. Taylor’s daughter has already landed smack dab in the middle of the drama, having been the first to catch on to Deacon and Taylor’s feelings for one another, and Finn’s in the loop. Knowing better than most what Sheila is capable of, they’ll certainly be on high alert when it comes to protecting the World-Renowned Psychologist™.
