Coronation Street viewers are certain they’ve figured out who is responsible for getting Megan Walsh pregnant.

The sports coach, played by Beth Nixon, dropped a bombshell on her young victim Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) during Monday’s (January 19) episode of the ITV soap, revealing the truth about her pregnancy.

 

 

Megan, who has been publicly seeing Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), has been grappling with her future since discovering she’s expecting.

While the news could potentially unveil her sinister grooming secret, Megan recognises this might be her only opportunity to become a mother.

He tried his best to support her, but she dismissed him as his obvious worry could arouse suspicion among other students.

Back at the Rovers, Will questioned Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) about Megan’s apparent “illness”, but they remained tight-lipped.

When Will suggested that Megan might be seriously ill, his clandestine lover was compelled to clarify the real situation.

Megan confirmed that Will is the father and confessed: “You’re freaked out. I was. I still am. I was this close to getting a termination yesterday. I thought it would be for the best.

“This is proof that we’re together and nobody is going to understand but this could be my only chance. I’m pregnant against all odds.”

Despite Megan’s certainty that Will is the father of her unborn child, soap fans aren’t so sure.
