‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sally Confronts Cane Over His Chancellor Offer to Billy-Is Billy In Over His Head?
‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that next week on Y&R, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will join the long list of people who confront Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Never Stays Down for Long

Sally takes issue with Cane’s offer to give Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) Chancellor free and clear. Sally doesn’t trust Cane at all.
Cane and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) had a grand time decimating Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) family company and taking over Newman Enterprises.
Of course, Victor is out for blood, and he intends to make sure that Cane and Phyllis pay for what they have done, “until their dying day.”
Fans know that Chancellor is part of the Newman family legacy after Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) sold it to Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Victor won’t take kindly to Billy stepping in, and he’ll view it as a betrayal.
Spoilers hint that Sally will nip Billy’s involvement with Cane in the bud before Victor decides to come after Billy, too. We have to wonder if anyone, for that matter, is so offended by Cane and Phyllis finally taking down “the Mustache.”
He’s double-crossed and hurt so many people over the years in the name of business. Victor deserves to know what it feels like to have something ripped away from him. That’s the law of karma.
That said, Victor never stays down for long. Sally is smart enough to know that. He’ll attack anyone whom he deems a threat to his legacy.
If Billy accepts the offer from Cane to run Chancellor, Billy will be on Victor’s hit list right along with Cane and Phyllis.
Sally will head to Cane’s train, and the two of them will have a fierce faceoff. Cane may try to explain to Sally that he wants to do something to help Billy. He wants to try to make up for the past.
Sally will likely pressure Cane to take back his offer to Billy. If that happens, Billy will undoubtedly be furious with his lady love.
However, we know Sally is trying to save Billy from his worst impulses and also protect their new company, Abbott Communications.
Sally understands that if Billy accepts the deal, he’s putting a massive target on his back, and the Newmans won’t hesitate to aim.
Billy is obsessed with getting revenge on Victor. He even admitted to Sally that he was disappointed he wasn’t the one to destroy Victor’s company.
Billy has wanted to take Victor down for years, and Sally knows it. She also knows how desperately he wants Chancellor.
Yet, he has the promise of a fresh start and a loving girlfriend by his side, but he can’t let go of anything.
We can even imagine Cane throwing in Newman Media to sweeten the deal with Billy. He could propose that Billy take Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) place at the company.
Sally can see trouble coming down the pike if Billy involves himself in Cane and Phyllis’s revenge plot against Victor. She knows it’s all a foolish idea.
Sally has her priorities straight and doesn’t want to see Billy sucked into the inevitable mess that Cane and Phyllis create. She’s good for Billy, and hopefully, he appreciates that.
