The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Is Steffy Unfair to Hire Dylan After Firing Deke – Suddenly There’s Money to Spare?
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Is Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) being
unfair to hire Dylan (Sydney Bullock) after firing Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone)? Why is there suddenly money to spare for Dylan when Deke got the boot?

Deke actually went to design school and has been working toward a career in fashion.
When Deke submitted his portfolio anonymously, everyone was impressed with his sketches.
Deke obviously needs a little more experience before he can make a real splash in the industry, but people keep acknowledging his talent.
It’s clear that Deke has the potential to be a rising star in the fashion business.
Unfortunately, none of that was enough for Deke to keep his position at Forrester Creations.
As soon as Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) decided he wanted back on Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) line, Deke was shoved right out the door.
Thomas and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) insisted she could handle Hope for the Future’s revival without Deke, so Steffy forced Hope to fire him.
Although Hope thought surely there must be room for Deke, Steffy was adamant that they couldn’t keep someone they didn’t need on the payroll.
Of course, Steffy certainly changed her tune when Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) came to her looking for some employment help for Dylan.
Now Steffy’s eager to help Dylan in any way she can and has agreed to talk to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about hiring her.
If all goes well, Dylan will become a Forrester employee soon.
It seems like Steffy’s going against everything she said before since they obviously don’t need Dylan, but they’re still headed toward paying her in a new role at the company.
Why did it have to be all or nothing for Deke when it came to Hope’s line?
Couldn’t Deke have stayed on board as a fashion designer elsewhere at the company since there’s apparently money to spare?
Dylan is an artist, but she has no real fashion knowledge and surely won’t add as much value to Forrester Creations as Deke would have.
We get that Steffy wants to help a friend in need, but it feels like a silly plot point after all that “we don’t have the money for Deke” talk.
It’s obvious that B&B wanted Deke over at Logan while Dylan presumably causes issues for Electra and Will at Forrester, so Steffy’s decision-making has to fit whether it makes sense or not!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some fashion-related surprises are still to come, so we’ll pass along updates on all the exciting news and big faceoffs.
