There’s another big twist coming on #GH — and there’s nothing Willow, Michael, Sonny or *anybody* can do to stop it:
At long last, General Hospital is closing in on the conclusion of Willow’s trial for shooting then-ex-fiancé, now-future-ex-husband Drew. And what happens next will change everything.
For a while there, things looked bleak for Willow. But then her attorney Alexis was able to prove that her former spouse Michael had fabricated his alibi — and that his great aunt Tracy had spotted him at the scene of the crime.

At that point, Willow seemed destined to walk… until, that is, Kai and Trina realized to whom Wiley’s “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” ringtone really belonged: the little boy’s mother, the accused!
The young lovers had heard that ringtone while they were hiding in Drew’s house on the night in question. Faced with a moral dilemma, they ran to Alexis to fill her in. Only it wasn’t so cut-and-dry for the lawyer.
If Alexis ratted out her own client, partner Diane warned, she’d be disbarred again. Worse, a vindictive Drew would surely keep Alexis from ever seeing granddaughter Scout again. What to do, what to do…
In the moment of truth, Alexis made her closing argument without throwing her client under the bus. So when the verdict is returned, Willow is sure to be found not guilty. Which may end this trauma for her, but it guarantees that she’ll be returning to the hot seat again sooner than later.

Obviously, acting D.A. Turner will go after Michael — all the better to stir up conflict with her sorta love interest, Michael’s adoptive father Sonny. He “disarms Turner when circumstances position her to investigate one of his loved ones,” headwriters Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten tell TV Insider. “But Turner has a card left to play against Sonny, too.”
Will Michael Do the Time for Willow’s Crime?
In the end, Michael will surely be acquitted when his lawyer Diane — who you remember knows who really did it — retraces Willow’s steps to make her look as guilty as she is. And how hard can it be, considering that now four people not including Willow now know that she pulled the trigger?
Michael will be exonerated, and Willow — because she can’t be tried twice for the same crime, she’ll get away with attempted murder. Suffice it to say that that oughta put an end to her marriage to Drew!
