Roo and Harper take the time to sit down with Cohen in an effort to help him process the emotional aftermath of his latest fallout with his father, Adrian. The conversation is heartfelt, as both women try to reassure Cohen while also encouraging him to express how he’s truly feeling about the conflict. Despite their good intentions, it’s clear that Cohen is still struggling with the tension and disappointment that has built up between him and Adrian.
Once the talk is over, Roo gently suggests that Cohen head upstairs to rest, giving her the opportunity to have a more private and serious discussion with Harper. Unbeknownst to them, Cohen doesn’t go far. Instead, he quietly listens in on the conversation from nearby. What he overhears leaves him unsettled, as Roo and Harper begin to disagree over the best way forward — particularly when it comes to whether Adrian deserves a second chance to prove himself as a father. Harper remains more cautious, while Roo leans toward the belief that reconciliation might be possible, creating a clear divide in their perspectives.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Bay, David steps in to give Adrian some much-needed words of wisdom about parenthood. He encourages Adrian to reflect on his mistakes and reminds him that it’s never too late to rebuild a bond with his son. Motivated and inspired by David’s advice, Adrian makes the decision to reach out, showing up with the intention of visiting Cohen and hopefully beginning the long journey toward healing their fractured relationship.

Roo is left completely outraged when she unexpectedly walks into her own home and discovers Adrian there without permission. The shock quickly turns into fury as she demands to know what he thinks he’s doing. Adrian tries to defend himself, insisting that he only wanted a chance to see Cohen, but Roo isn’t prepared to hear him out. Convinced that his presence will only cause more harm than good, she delivers a sharp ultimatum — either he leaves immediately or she will have no hesitation in calling the police to have him forcibly removed. The standoff between them highlights just how deep the mistrust and resentment now run.
Word of the confrontation soon reaches Harper, and she wastes no time in making her way over to Roo’s place. Once there, Harper doesn’t mince her words. She tells Roo firmly that her constant interference between Cohen and his father has gone too far. While she understands that Roo cares for Cohen, Harper stresses that these family matters are not Roo’s to control. If Roo continues to stand in the way of Adrian trying to repair his fractured relationship with his son, Harper warns her in no uncertain terms that she will be left with no other option but to formally report her behaviour.
The tension is high as Roo takes in Harper’s stern warning. With her protective instincts clashing against the reality of the situation, Roo faces a tough choice. Will she continue to fight for what she believes is best for Cohen, or will she be forced to back down in order to avoid even more conflict?
