#GeneralHospital alum just “dropped” some very big news — and wait till you see how…
Soap actors come and go and while some return to daytime, others take some time away to do different things. One may start their own
business or take their acting talents to primetime or the stage but a former General Hospital favorite has done one better… Marcus Coloma, best remembered for playing Nik in Port Charles, has released a new single and you can listen to a sample of it right here.

“As promised…” Coloma began in a post on his official Instagram before introducing “’Dropped,’ the interpretive dance.” He went on to say, “If you get a chance, please listen to this as much as you possibly can, and even if you’re not able to listen to it, just have it playing on repeat on Spotify, or Amazon music, Apple Music, or wherever you listen to music: it should be there.” He then urged fans, “Also share it, why not share it to as many people as you can share it to, your Instagram story, share it to your girlfriend, your boyfriend, your friend, your family.”
The former daytime star gave a little backstory to “Dropped” and stated, “When I was 26 years old, I wrote this song about an imaginary girl and love story. I was also on a show called South Beach, my character didn’t have a lot of money, and my love interest was going for a guy who did. 2026 seem like the right time to tell the tale.”
This is the actor’s second release since 2021 when his single “Hold On” hit the music platforms. And while fans watched him interpret his latest song in the post above, one, Marisol, jumped into the comments to let Coloma know that she “dropped” it on her playlist — and if you want to check out the full version, we’ve made it easy for you to do so below.
