Emmerdale fuels shocking Graham and Rhona theory with suspicious moment

Corriedale has delivered many shocking moments for soap fans, with the return of Graham Foster, who was thought to be dead, being among the jaw-dropping twists of the crossover episode.

As Rhona and Graham were in a loving relationship, abruptly interrupted by his “death”, it wouldn’t be a far cry to have them reunite, though it wouldn’t be necessarily romantic.

Emmerdale reveals aftermath of Graham's return – how much does Joe know?

Amid her stepdaughter April Windsor’s disappearance and her exploiter, Ray Walters, turning up dead, Rhona could’ve asked Graham for a little help to sort things out without getting dirty herself.

In recent scenes, Rhona was on the phone with a mystery person, asking them if they had “done it”. Could it be that Graham has helped Rhona get rid of Ray, who was blackmailing her and Marlon Dingle?

If this is the case, it’s safe to assume that Marlon is in the dark about Rhona’s alliance with Graham. In the episode, the vet rushed to put her phone away when Marlon showed up.

When they didn’t answer, Rhona looked preoccupied as she typed a desperate message: “Call me back as soon as possible please. April is going to the police.”

As April is looking to report Ray and his mother, criminal mastermind Celia Daniels, to the police, who is Rhona trying to protect?

Celia also died recently, murdered by Ray in a fit of rage. While this means that two villains are now out of the way, more drama could ensue once Ray’s killer is found out. Could it really be Graham?

Emmerdale ties up two more loose ends in April Windsor’s dark storyline tonight – and it’s good news at last for the traumatised teen and her family. With Celia Daniels and Ray Walters both out of the picture, the show starts to address some unresolved plot points.

First up, Mary Goskirk’s uncertain position within the family dynamic is finally put to bed. Poor Mary was left devastated last month as her daughter Rhona harshly kicked her out of Smithy Cottage, declaring that she was no longer welcome. Protective Rhona believed that it was safer for Mary to keep a distance while Celia and Ray were making threats.

In Friday’s episode, Mary addresses the elephant in the room now that she finally knows the truth about what April, Rhona and Marlon have all been through recently.

When Mary admits that she wishes she’d been kept in the loop, Rhona replies: “I hated having to lie to you, mum, getting you to move out. But it was the only way we could keep you safe.
