The Bold and the Beautifulalum Jacob Young (Rick) has announced his upcoming film, which also features an ’80s legend and another soap star.

Young took to Instagram to share his excitement over his new movie, A Murder Between Friends. The actor also revealed the flick will co-star his good friend and Days of Our Livesfan favorite Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe).

A photo of Bjorlin and Young posing was featured in the social media share as Young gushed over the project in the caption.

“’A Murder Between Friends’ arrives this January 2026 and I couldn’t be more excited for audiences to finally experience it. This project has been incredibly meaningful to me, not only as a producer and director, but also stepping in front of the camera after a long hiatus as an actor. Working side by side with executive producer and my dear friend @mark_rozzano was a true labor of love from start to finish. Working alongside my talented co-star and longtime friend Nadia Bjorlin of 25 years made the journey even more special; her passion, dedication, work ethic, and artistry elevate every moment. @nadiabjorlin 📷: @espenhatleskogofficial #amurderbetweenfriends,” he wrote.

In a separate Instagram post, Young revealed that the movie is set to release on January 13. The actor once again put into words just how much this film means to him.

“This project has been such a meaningful journey, filled with passion, collaboration, and heart, and I can’t wait for people to see the story we’ve brought to life. Every element of the film reflects the care and dedication of an incredible team, and I’m beyond grateful to share it with everyone,” Young shared as the caption.

It turns out that Young doesn’t just star in the movie. Young also directed the film, which will be released on Apple TV+.

A Murder Between Friends is a whodunit mystery focusing on a group of six friends staying at a European mansion for a vacation getaway. Young and Bjorlin play the married couple, Josh and Kat.

When one of the six friends ends up dead, everyone is a suspect in this suspenseful thriller, including the mansion owner, Francesca Carlyle. Dynasty legendJoan Collins plays Carlyle, a journalist best known for her murder investigation show.

The soap worlds are colliding in A Murder Between Friends starring Jacob Young, Nadia Bjorlin, and Joan Collins.

A Murder Between Friends drops on Apple TV+ on Tuesday, January 13.
