Hope concedes Sheila would probably lose her mind. Steffy declares again that it can’t happen. Sheila will go after her mother. She’s shot her and both of their mothers in the past! Steffy wants Hope to do everything in her power to convince Deacon to stay away from Taylor.

Taylor’s pacing her office when Deacon arrives. He got her text… is something wrong? She tells him Steffy saw them and is very upset about what she witnessed. “I think you need to find a new therapist.”

Closing the door, Deacon suggests it doesn’t matter. They’re adults and they know what they’re doing. He understands that it’s complicated, but pleads with her not to cut him loose. Taylor only wants the best for him. Taking her hand, he says, “That’s you, Taylor. That’s you.”

Taylor tells Deacon that they got caught up… she never should have allowed it as a professional. Deacon protests that he can’t imagine pouring his heart out to some other doctor. Taylor reminds him that Sheila’s her wife… this is riddled with problems and potential dangers.
