The Young and the Restless Week of January 12 Preview: Phyllis & Cane Tell Victor They Own Newman Enterprises
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of January 12-16 reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will lose big to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) gets some crushing news.
Y&R’s weekly promo begins with Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) admission to Sharon that she can’t keep doing this anymore.

When Tessa insists it’s too hard, Sharon then wonders what exactly she’s saying.
In the week ahead, Tessa will presumably admit she’s started the divorce process and that she’s giving up on her marriage to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Sharon may push Tessa to remember all the love and keep fighting, but Tessa won’t see how she can when Mariah won’t even communicate with her anymore.
Tessa will likely urge Sharon to understand that although she didn’t want this, Mariah has left her no choice.
Sharon will also be alarmed over Mariah checking herself out of the clinic in Boston and refusing to come home.
Between Tessa’s devastating divorce updates and this missing Mariah shocker, Sharon will have even more to worry about.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will return following his attempt to trade Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) for the AI program.
When Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) asks if Victor agreed to call off the dogs, Jack will confess that’s “not exactly” what happened.
Diane will question Jack about what he means, so Jack will acknowledge that finding Matt wasn’t the craziest part of the evening.
This no doubt has something to do with Cane’s built-in element in the AI software, which causes the program to turn on itself when prompted.
Cane has a secret weapon that he’s about to team up with Phyllis to use, so the timing may be interesting.
It sounds like right when Victor’s about to destroy the program as part of a Matt deal, Cane will trigger the element and strike a major blow to Victor’s family business.
That may be what Jack tells Diane in the aftermath.
It could leave Diane and Jack worried that Cane and Phyllis might target them next since the program will still exist.
Next, Phyllis and Cane will gloat to Victor after winning big. Victor will meet with the sneaky duo, so Phyllis will rub their victory in his face.
“Newman Enterprises is ours. And there’s not anything you or anyone else can do about it,” Phyllis declares in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will no doubt deliver some vengeful threats, so stay tuned for Cane and Phyllis’ reaction.
