More on ‘The Dutton Ranch’
Word first broke on the “Yellowstone” spinoff in mid-August under the then working title of “Rio Palo.”
The city of Ferris announced that the show would be filming in its small town of nearly 3,000. About a week later, 101 Studios CEO David Glasser confirmed to the Star-Telegram that “Rio Palo” was merely a temporary name for the show.
On Aug. 21, Ferris officials confirmed the spinoff is actually the Beth and Rip-led spinoff that was announced shortly after “Yellowstone” season 5 concluded late last year. Deadline reported a few days later that the spinoff has a new working title: “The Dutton Ranch.”
