The General Hospital spoilers video preview for the week of January 5-9 shows some tense moments in Port Charles. From Valentin’s big announcement to the revelation of who shot Drew, this week brings the heat.

Carly (Laura Wright) asks Valentin, “What’s goin’ on?” He calmly but firmly lets her know, “It’s time for me to leave.”

 

 

She looks surprised by the news. Is this really the end of Valentin’s time in PC?

Who Shot Drew?
Meanwhile, the trial is still on, and the suspect list is long. The gun is there, and somebody has to answer the question, “Have you ever touched this weapon?”

Clearly, somebody has. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is there when the judge says, “All Rise.” She looks actually ill, which means she may know something she wishes she didn’t. Somebody knocks on Alexis’ door and says, “We know who shot Drew.”

A furious Drew (Cameron Mathison) yells at somebody, “You are gonna rot in prison,” to gasps in the courtroom. There is Michael (Rory Gibson), Liz (Rebecca Herbst), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and so many more on hand as the judge and jury prepare to read the verdict.

AdvertisementThe first whole week of 2026 is going to see a major mystery solved, as teased in the latest General Hospital promo. Alexis will present her case to try and exonerate Willow, while also ensuring she, Molly and Kristina will continue to be able to see Scout. Plus, where is Valentin headed now, and guess who solved the mystery of “Who shot Drew Cain?”

Carly has been hiding the escaped convict, Valentin Cassadine, in her attic, but apparently that’s coming to an end. Carly discovers Valentin packing up his things and he tells her, “It’s time for me to go.” Could this have anything to do with Charlotte knowing where he is?

Thanks to the anonymous letter, Alexis knows Michael was in the vicinity of Drew’s house the night he was shot, and that Tracy saw him. So she’s prepared to present this in hopes of raising a reasonable doubt in the jurors’ minds that Willow is the guilty party.

Justine asks someone, who appears to be Michael, as he’s shown on the stand, “Have you ever touched this gun?” It’s a photo of Edward’s gun. Will Michael have to admit it was him who planted it in Willow’s room?

Soon, all hell breaks loose. Drew points to someone yelling, “You are going to rot in prison!” The courtroom erupts in commotion, and Willow appears af she’s just heard something shocking.

Finally, the promo ends with an unseen, but heard, Kai and Trina turning up at Alexis’ office, saying, “We know who shot Drew!” Does this have anything to do with what they assumed at the time was Drew’s phone going off that night with “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” as a ringtone?

Monday, Dante testified again at Willow’s trial. Now, it’s Michael’s turn in the hot seat and, right after him, Elizabeth. By the time court adjourns, we’re gonna be the only people who haven’t been called to the stand!
