After months of suffering in silence, April finally finds the courage to share her story. Gathering Marlon, Rhona, Mary, Bob and Dylan together, April reveals the full extent of the horrors she endured at the hands of Celia and Ray.

 

 

Their panic only increases when they discover how Bear was held captive and forced to work as a slave at Celia’s farm. Marlon and co are terrified of further repercussions if they talk, but April is determined to get justice for all of Ray and Celia’s victims.

Still reeling in horror over his granddaughter’s ordeal, Bob feels it’s his duty to let the village know,

He heads to The Woolpack and stuns locals by revealing all about Ray and Celia’s criminal empire. Laurel is sat with Jimmy when she learns the news. But how will she react to the discovery of Ray’s true nature?

Meanwhile, Moira is left in utter shock when Ross informs her of Ray and Celia’s true nature.

And over at Home Farm, Kim warns Robert of the trouble they could be in because Celia has been running her operation from their farm.

Paddy returns to the village, where Rhona is waiting to tell him about Bear.

She invites inside Smithy and explains how Bear was lured into the modern slavery ring. Paddy is completely gobsmacked, but kindly assures April and Dylan that what happened to his dad wasn’t in any way their fault.

As fears for Bear continue to mount, the police arrive and Paddy he should prepare for the worst. April also fears she will be arrested for Callum’s murder. But is she about to discover her victim actually survived?

Up at the Depot, Jai makes his way towards a van ready to go on a haulage run to Manchester.

Caleb insists there’s nothing that can’t wait until tomorrow, so the pair leave the van behind.

But what Jai, and Caleb, don’t realise is there is dead body lying inside the vehicle. Who is it?
