As the episode begins, Donna remains stuck in the middle of the Brooke/Ridge vs. Bill/Katie squabble over the use of the name Logan.

Katie argues that her sister doesn’t even use the name. It’s always been, like, Brooke’s Bedroom, not Logan’s Lingerie. Brooke, getting nasty, says, “Your name is not known. It means nothing in the fashion industry.” In other words, there’s only one Logan to Brooke: Brooke! Meanwhile, at the beach house, we rewind to Will telling Electra that when he put a parking permit on Dylan’s car, he noticed all the stuff inside — so much that he was sure she was living out of her vehicle. “Maybe she’s moving,” Electra says. “That is not the case,” Will is sure.
After the opening credits, Electra tells Will that if he’s right about Dylan, they have to help her. “How long has she been homeless?” Electra wonders. Could it have been the whole time she’s known Dylan? Funnily enough, the two Richie Riches lament the high rent in L.A. “How did it get to this point?” Electra wonders. Unhoused college students are more common than they think, Will says.
While Dylan showers outside, Will googles “vehicular homelessness.” Suddenly, Dylan is able to hear the couple talking inside. “There has to be something we can do for her,” Electra says. Not for nothing, but wouldn’t you think that Will and Electra could pay Dylan’s salary for a year with just the $100 bills they find in the sofa cushions?
In Bill’s office, Brooke proves she has no understanding of irony as she tells Katie, “It’s nothing personal.” Katie of course laughs in her face. It’s beyond personal! Katie can’t believe that after all the times she’s supported Brooke, she’s treating her this way. Ridge being Ridge, he simply announces that the matter is settled even though it most certainly isn’t, and he and Brooke leave.
Alone with Bill, Katie rages that she’s the one who’s kept Brooke relevant. The nerve of Brooke to want to take possession of their father’s name! When Liam comes in, Bill and Katie fill him in, and he shares their opinion that it’s nuts of Brooke to call dibs on the Logan family’s name.
Back at Forrester, Brooke and Ridge share their shock at this whole turn of events. She doesn’t want anything to come between her and Katie as they’re sisters and she loves her. Uh-huh. That explains the glare as she Brooke and Ridge left Spencer! (See above.) Right on cue, in comes Carter, whom Ridge and Brooke task with making sure Katie can’t call her company Logan.
Later, Brooke explains to Carter that she trademarked Logan Designs ages ago. He’ll look over the registration and make sure that all the I’s are dotted and T’s crossed. “Katie’s gonna have to name her little startup something else,” says Ridge, shrugging off his sister-in-law’s plans.
Back at Spencer, Bill reminds Katie that she calls the shots, not Brooke and Ridge. Liam thinks Brooke should be supporting Katie and assures her that she’s not some behind-the-scenes nobody. “This is just another example of your sister strong-arming you,” Bill says, ordering Liam to get the domain for the name Logan instantly.
So Who Gets to Use the Name Logan?!?
As the episode draws to a close, Dylan enters and insists to Will and Electra that she’s just between apartments. “I’m good,” Dylan says. Electra encourages Dylan to talk to her, so she admits that the place she’d lined up fell through, so she’d stayed at a motel, then she ran out of money, and then… Well, then she wound up sleeping in her car. “It’s my only home.”
Back at Spencer, Katie is still raging over Brooke saying it’s her way or the highway. Liam happily reports that the trademark on Logan expired a year ago. At that very moment, Brooke and Ridge all but laugh at the idea of Katie competing with them. Just then, Carter discovers that the trademark expired. Carter and Liam type as fast as they can to get the rights to the name Logan, and the episode ends with everyone asking, “Did you get it?”
