Morrone, best known for his work as Dante Versano in Another Simple Favor, will also have a role in The Housemaid. The film is coming to theaters later this year on December 19.

The Housemaid follows a young woman, Millie (Sweeney), who agrees to live as a maid for Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew (Sklenar). Millie has had a complicated past, but she decides to put it all behind her and move forward. Everything changes when she finds herself in the middle of a scintillating love triangle that threatens to tear her new home apart. Paul Feig is directing The Housemaid after he most recently directed Another Simple Favor earlier this year. Feig also directed 2016’s Ghostbusters movie starring Melissa McCarthy, and he’s beloved for his work helming Jason Statham’s Spy.

The Housemaid is far from the first big role for Sklenar, in addition to starring in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone spin-off, 1923. In 2024, he starred in the controversial romantic thriller, It Ends With Us, which starred Blake Lively opposite Justin Baldoni. The film has spiraled into an intense legal battle, but Sklenar has managed to avoid much of the turmoil. Earlier this year, Sklenar also starred opposite Meghann Fahy in Drop, the whodunnit thriller that earned an 83% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes

Brandon Sklenar has become one of the most popular names fans have thrust into the role of Batman in James Gunn’s DCU. However, there is no concrete evidence to support that he will be the one to take over the mantle of The Dark Knight. Earlier this year, while he was promoting Drop, Sklenar was asked if he had heard about the Batman rumors. He admitted that he had, and said it would be “like a dream come true” to play the character. The DCU’s Batman is expected to make his debut in The Brave and the Bold, which is still lacking an official release date.
