As Days of Our Lives Drops Another DiMera Family Bombshell, It Kills Off a Key Character — Off Screen!
Peter certainly dropped a number of bombshells during his DiMera rant on Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives. There’s the fact that he hates
Stefano and the entire DiMera family. He doesn’t want to be a DiMera (though he seems eager enough to be the last heir standing after killing all the others) and, oh, yeah, Stefan’s dead. In fact, finding that out is what set this whole mad kidnapping plan in motion.

We haven’t seen Stefan, of course, since Vivian kidnapped him and forced his divorce to Gabi. EJ supposedly got a Get Well Soon card from his brother after getting shot, but it seemed awfully suspicious. Since then, there’s been no trace of him, though with the DiMeras disappearing, everyone has been wondering if he, too, was a part of whatever’s been happening. It looks like he was… but not in the way everyone was thinking!
Down in the crypt, Peter called his adopted siblings out for completely ignoring the fact that Stefan had vanished off the face of the planet, saying none of them bothered checking in on him even once. Peter did, though. He called Vivian and she told him, “voice quivering with emotion,” that Stefan had passed away a few months back.
Peter doesn’t know how, but he also doesn’t seem to care. The guy couldn’t seem to make up his mind about whether the DiMeras should be nicer to each other or all deserved to die. Well, he did decide on that last part after Stefan’s death gave him the jump in offing them.
Granted, Vivian could be lying just to keep people from sniffing around Stefan. But keeping him a prisoner for the rest of his life never seemed like a great plan. We could see Stefan trying to escape and dying in the process — accidentally of course. Vivian wouldn’t kill him to keep him from Gabi… right? Right?!
But we could also see Vivian just playing Peter — and the rest of the DiMeras — for a fool. For the moment, though, until we hear otherwise, RIP Stefan. But hey, if his heart is still good, maybe it can be popped back into Jake to bring him back!
