The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of December 29-January 2 reveal that Katie Spencer (Heather Tom) will launch a controversy while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) strikes back in defense of her. We’ve also got info on the New Year’s Day schedule, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on the CBS soap.

For starters, Katie will put her fashion house plans into action and do her best to make this venture a smashing success.

Bill will be as supportive as ever and more than happy to defend Katie against any naysayers like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Of course, Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) will try to play referee between Brooke and Katie as their bond as sisters threatens to crumble into a major feud.

Unfortunately, Donna is only going to feel even more stuck in the middle based on what’s coming up.

Eric is definitely struggling with the idea of retirement and has hinted that it might not be permanent.

At the same time, Eric doesn’t feel valued at Forrester Creations anymore and may be hesitant to force his way back there.

That should open the door for Katie to recruit Eric and convince him to join her new fashion house, but that move’s bound to stir up some controversy.

Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) also needs a fashion designer gig now that he’s lost his job at Forrester Creations.

It surely won’t be long until Katie hires Deke at her new fashion house too, so her team will be shaping up nicely.

If Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) gets fed up enough at Forrester, there’s a chance she might abandon ship as well.

It’d be a tougher decision for Hope since she’s poured so much of herself into Hope for the Future, but Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) comeback could lead to more problems than she bargained for.

Thomas assured Hope that working together wouldn’t be an issue, but he may not keep his promise!

As for Dylan (Sydney Bullock), she’s involved in a new story chapter that could bring some weird drama.

Will Dylan find herself fixated on Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) or even John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novan)?

Dylan could potentially become a new troublemaker who replaces Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) in some ways, so stay tuned for updates on any alarming news to come.

Finally, we should mention that B&B will air a repeat on Thursday, January 1. Following that encore from July 2025, the show will be back with a brand-new episode on Friday, January 2.
