ONE DAY Axed EastEnders legend vows to return to BBC soap after devastating health battle
DANNIELLA Westbrook has revealed she’s keen to return to EastEnders after completing facial surgery to “look like she should”.
The desire for surgery comes after her decades-long struggle with a cocaine addiction which has left her face distorted.
Danniella was axed from her role as Sam Mitchell multiple times and last left the popular soap in 2016.
Though she’s incredibly keen to return after her surgeries are completed.
Some are for reconstruction and others for repairing holes left in her mouth from using substances.
Speaking to the Daily Mail about her wishes Danniella, 52, said: “I’ll look like I used to look [after the surgeries], like I should look.

“When my face is done, I will return.
“I’d go back if they killed me off.
“I would finish the character that I started.”
In the new year Danniella, who has appeared in I’m A Celeb, Dancing on Ice, and Celebrity Big Brother, will fly out to Dubai for her next round of major surgeries.
Though her cosmetic journey will be far from over post-op.
If that one goes successfully, she will then have to undergo another two or three minor procedures to restore her features to how they used to be.
A full £45,000 neck and face lift will complete the work.

Though rehabilitation altogether is estimated to take at least two years.
Earlier this month Danniella was rushed to hospital after experiencing breathing issues.
Her health woes led to her dropping out of a role in upcoming film Tales From The Trap – what would have been Danniella’s first solid return to screens.
She added to the Mail: “The top of my mouth had started to recede and it had two holes, which were constantly leaking and corroded. Everything I was eating and drinking was going through them.
“But the work on that went well, including a surgical lip revision for a cleft lip. My surgeon brought my top lip down and forward – those holes were pushing it back and curling my lip up.
“And, where there is no structure at the end of my nose, it was just pushing up and under.
“That is why I couldn’t breathe, I was literally suffocating!”
