All signs are pointing to #Days’ Jeremy stalking Stephanie — which means we’re sure that he’s actually innocent! So who’s after her and what else could he be mixed up in? Find out here:
We’d really hate to be in Jeremy’s shoes at this point. Every time he seems to be making headway into convincing everyone he’s changed on
Days of Our Lives, his anger gets the better of him. He got blamed for outing Stephanie’s writing identity, even though EJ was the one to do it.

And now, to top it all off, Steph’s recalled that he’s ambidextrous, which means he could be the one writing the increasingly unnerving letters to her!
All of that, combined with his obsessive, abusive past definitely points to him being her secret stalker. But that’s clearly been where the show’s been leading us since he first showed up, which has got to mean it’s all just misdirection.

And if that’s the case, there’s just one suspect left — even if no one in Salem realizes it just yet! Because we know that Owen Kent is coming back, and he’s already proven dangerous, obsessive and head-over-heels for Stephanie in the worst way possible.

In fact, he’s the reason Stephanie was so gun shy about getting involved with Philip again. The two were dating (back when she was played by Shelley Hennig), which is why EJ had Owen kidnap Stephanie during that period’s DiMera/Kiriakis war. Owen never quite turned her over to EJ, though, on account of him growing unhealthily attached to her while holding her captive.

And while Steph was eventually rescued, Owen made a clean escape, never to be heard from again. Until now, of course!
While he seems the most likely person to be obsessed with Stephanie — and have good reason to keep his prints off those letters — his return could go even deeper. Owen was mixed up with Stephanie, EJ, the DiMeras and the Kiriakises. Is it a coincidence that a kidnapper is returning just as the DiMeras are all being snatched one by one?
We can’t imagine him plotting the snatchings (no offense, Owen), but he could be the one sent out to actually do them all. Maybe he’s blamed EJ and the DiMeras for destroying his life and wants revenge. Maybe he just wants to make some money so he can live comfortably off the grid with Stephanie.
One thing is certain: Owen’s mixed up in this somehow (especially with what we saw in the season preview trailer) and Stephanie’s past is about to come back to haunt her once again. And that could be just the beginning.
