of Duty’ — where do you start? Which character do you pick from which branch of the franchise? And so the team has got a vision where they want to go, and I think Taylor Sheridan will be a good match for what they’ve got in mind.” he said.

Booty did not provide any story details. The Call of Duty games, which began in 2003, span World War II, modern warfare, futuristic combat, and more. It’s still not clear which era the film will choose.

Microsoft first announced the live-action Call of Duty movie in September. Sheridan will write and produce the film along with Peter Berg, who will write, direct, and produce. David Glasser will also serve as a producer.

A recent rumour claimed that production could begin next year and that the story might be set in the modern day. However, nothing is confirmed. The movie has no release date, and no cast has been announced yet.
