Young and Restless Preview: A Desperate Mariah Enlists Help From [Spoiler] — Plus, Will Billy Team Up With Cane… or Take Him Down?
In the preview of what’s to come on Young & Restless, it would appear Mariah has yet another secret, one Daniel is in on. Plus, Billy’s got a
plan, Cane’s got a plan, and we sure as hell know Victor’s got a plan, but who will come out on top? Our money is on The Mustache, who never loses.
Previously, Tessa helped Daniel finish a song he had written for his dad, which he hoped to surprise his father with at his wedding to Christine. Of course, Tessa’s help only deepened Daniel’s feelings for the singer. Sadly for Daniel, their special moment was interrupted by Tessa’s estranged wife, Mariah, who told Tessa she needed to go away for a while on her therapist’s suggestion. The angry confrontation between the spouses ended with Mariah blurting out that she had killed a man! Did they really leave us hanging there?
Coming up, Mariah says to Daniel, “Did you do what I asked?” Daniel replies, “Tessa doesn’t know that I’m here. I didn’t tell her.” What has Mariah asked Daniel to do?
After taking over Billy and Sally’s celebratory bash, canceling both the party and their launch of Abbott Communications, Cane revealed Victor forced him to betray Billy. However, Ashby felt they could still take down Victor if they worked with him, and he was willing to give Billy his AI program to help him succeed. Of course, Cane’s real plan was for Billy to do his dirty work while his hands stayed clean.
Sally fumed at the fact that Billy was clearly considering Cane’s proposal, and Jack couldn’t believe his brother gave him the shaft for Cane and told him to call his new company Ashby Communications! Coming up, Diane asks Sally if Billy is all right. Sally knows he’s not, claiming he’s about to make the biggest mistake of his life.
Finally, Cane asks Billy if he will join him in finally taking down Newman Enterprises. Will Billy go along with Cane’s plan or put one of his own into motion as he told Sally he was going to do, backstabbing Cane while destroying Victor? Whatever Billy chooses, history is sure to repeat itself, and we’re pretty sure Billy is doomed to fail!
