The Yellowstone franchise is already the most relevant neo-Western TV series, and it’s partially thanks to creator Taylor Sheridan but also

to its star-studded cast. The original show, led by iconic actor Kevin Costner, already put the series in the cultural forefront. As the

franchise continues to grow through its many spin-offs, more iconic and beloved faces join the Sheridanverse.

 

 

The 1883 prequel was led by none other than Tim McGraw and Sam Elliott, two of the most important Western actors in history, while the former is a popular country singer as well. Later on, Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford joined in 1923. But that’s not the end, because as the Yellowstone universe grows more and more successful with each passing day, even more fascinating celebrities join the cast for future spin-offs.

 

 

With a career spanning six decades, Kurt Russell boasts an extensive filmography with more than 100 projects. He started as a child actor, one of the most iconic Disney faces in the 1970s, and transitioned into films for every genre as an adult. He’s known for iconic roles in action blockbusters like Colonel Jack O’Neil in Stargate, Snake Plissken in Escape from New York, and more recently as Mr. Nobody in Fast & Furious. He even appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ego, Peter Quill’s powerful and selfish father. More importantly, Russell is well-known for his portrayal of Wyatt Earp in the popular Western movie Tombstone, which makes him an excellent star to join the Yellowstone franchise.

Kurt Russell will appear in the Yellowstone spin-off, The Madison, which will follow a New Yorker family moving to Montana. Russell will both act in the series and participate as an executive producer. Even though there is a lot of information already about The Madison and the role the cast will play in this new series, Russell’s character is still a mystery. Since he’s such a big star, he will probably get a fantastic role, and fans are excited to see how Russell makes his own impact on the Sheridanverse.
