BOOMSHELL NEWS!!! EastEnders stars promise “explosive” Christmas scenes in new festive photoshoot
EastEnders stars Ellie Dadd, Kitty Castledine and Zaraah Abrahams have promised that it’s going to be a very eventful Christmas in Walford. The three actors have teamed up for a fun and festive photoshoot for the special Christmas and New Year issue of Inside Soap.
The trio came together to celebrate the sisterly bonds between their characters Amy Branning, Penny Branning and Chelsea Fox.
The glamorous photos can be seen in this week’s issue of Inside Soap, alongside some exclusive interviews – available to buy from Tuesday, 9 December.
Digital Spy went behind the scenes of the photoshoot and grabbed some chats with the stars, and you can watch the full video above.
“We n
ever get to show [our bonds] properly on screen,” said Kitty. “I know a lot of the time, you might see us arguing, and maybe Penny is consoling Amy sometimes! But it’s really nice to show you guys how fun we are and how close we are.”
Zaraah added: “Off set, we are so close, so being able to show that on camera in these photos at Christmas is really special. It’s nice to be with your girls to do something like this.”
We also got the lowdown about what’s coming up in Albert Square this Christmas. Ellie told us what we can expect over the festive season, and said: “It wouldn’t be EastEnders if there wasn’t some drama at Christmas time, would it?

“It’s going to be drama-filled, explosive – with some secrets, obviously! It wouldn’t be a Christmas without them. I’d make sure you tune in and watch!”
Max Branning is finally back in Walford in next week’s scenes, and Kitty suggested that his return could shake things up for the whole family.
“Christmas in Walford this year is going to be pretty chaotic. Max Branning is back. There’s going to be a lot of crazy things, so you better tune in, because it’s going to be pretty mental.”

Meanwhile, Zaraah teased that within all the drama, there will also be some lighter moments this Christmas Day that will bring some much-needed festive warmth to viewers.
“Christmas in Walford doesn’t disappoint,” she promised. “You can expect drama, you can expect tense vibes through all the families. But you can also expect celebration and lots of fun. And also the Square always looks incredible at Christmas, so classic EastEnders.”
