Picking up from Friday, Cat knocks EJ out cold, then gets to work searching the living room. Eventually, she realizes that the place everyone hangs out in is the worst place to hide secrets, so she heads down into the tunnels.

She finds a cot in the wine room, which seems impossible for anyone in that house to miss, but OK. After some amateur photography, she

 

 

heads back upstairs and wakes EJ back up. He bounces right back, figuring he fell asleep, then jumps right into pointing out someone’s targeting his family.

Abe and Paulina are losing their minds looking after a crying baby Trey, so grandpa calls Theo to ask for help. But then Theo drops off the line. He’s snatched right outside the Pub. Abe just figures Theo couldn’t hear, got frustrated and hung up, so he gets back to domestic “bliss” with Paulina.

 

 

Jada gets to the Pub and she and Gabi happily catch up, then Philip arrives, prompting Jada to wonder where Theo’s at. But JJ distracts them all when he calls Jada to say Chad’s been reported missing. She runs out to find Theo, but it’s too late. She finds his phone on the ground, then breaks the news to Abe, who wastes no time running out the door.

 

 

He gets to the police station, and Jada tells him they’ve got nothing so far, but she’s already coordinating with Rafe and the FBI. He begs her to let him help, so Jada runs through theories, including that someone Theo trusted nabbed him — like Theo. Which makes Abe think back AGAIN to asking EJ for help in getting Theo out of DiMera.

 

 

EJ either has more info as the last DiMera standing, or he’s next. Either way, it’s a lead! Inside, Gabi and Philip talk over what happened to Theo. And Chad. And Tony. But not poor Kristen. They’re shaken enough to ditch the trivia.

Is EJ Behind All of This?
Chad wants his siblings to prepare for their captor’s return, but that sounds like too much work for Kristen. As they’re talking things over, the door opens, we hear a gunshot with a silencer and Theo’s dumped in. Welcome to the party!

Things are speeding up, because he’s already gotten over whatever knocked him out and tells the others what happened. Chad thinks that whoever did this had been watching, waiting and taking the perfect moment to swipe. Theo figures out the pattern before anyone else. The kids should be safe. Someone’s after money and power — Stefano’s heirs were grabbed, or in Theo’s case, the DiMera CEO.

Which leaves… EJ. (But could it really be him?)

In the Show’s Final Minutes
Chad defends EJ in the face of Kristen and Tony’s suspicions, but she just bulldozes over Chad’s goodwill. But that could be good, right? Theo says Uncle EJ would never kill them. “… Would he?”

Cat asks EJ if he’s worried he’s next, but he’s all relaxed about the possibility. Been there, done that. But then Abe texts to say Theo’s missing, and EJ tries tosses Cat out fast, telling her what happened. She, though, convinces EJ well enough that she’s worried about his safety that he leans in for a kiss.
