Coronation Street’s Calum Lill has confirmed his partner is pregnant.

The actor, who is 30, is best known for his role as Joel Deering in the ITV soap.

Calum proposed his girlfriend Roberta in 2024, and has now shared the exciting news they will become parents next year.

In the snaps uploaded to his Instagram, Calum and Roberta can be seen posing beside the Christmas tree, with Roberta’s pregnancy bump painted to look like a snowman.

Roberta is holding a baby scan, and both look over the moon!

‘New character dropping April ‘26’, Calum wrote in the caption.

Plenty of Calum’s friends from the industry shared sweet comments on the post.

Vicky Myers, who plays DS Lisa Swain in Corrie, said: ‘Congratulations’, while Emrhys Cooper (who played cult leader Rowan) said: ‘Yay! Congratulations’.

Cait Fitton, who portrays Lauren Bolton, added: ‘Oh my god!! Aghhhh, congrats’.

Calum played the role of Joel in Corrie from 2023-2024. The character worked as a solicitor who, on the surface, seemed like a kind and gentle man who loved girlfriend Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown).

We soon learned about the real Joel though, as it was confirmed he had groomed Lauren Bolton after meeting her in a police interview room.
