EastEnders: Ronnie & Roxy RETURN? Teases bloody christmas Twist

Christmas is approaching in Walford, and as always, the festive glow does little to soften the chaos brewing beneath the surface. But this

year, EastEnders may be preparing to deliver its most explosive Christmas twist in a decade — one that could resurrect a storyline fans

never thought they’d see again. Whisper it, scream it, or deny it… but all signs point to a jaw-dropping possibility:

EastEnders airs Roxy and Ronnie twist

Are Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell about to make a shocking RETURN?

The rumour started as a quiet buzz online, but after new hints dropped in this week’s episode — along with behind-the-scenes whispers — viewers are convinced something massive is coming. A “bloody Christmas twist,” as teased by one insider, has fans spiraling with theories.

And in true Mitchell style, the tension is rising fast.

Strange Clues Shake Walford Residents

It all begins when Jack Branning discovers a mysterious package left outside his home late at night. No note. No sender. Just a small silver locket — one identical to the piece Ronnie Mitchell once wore every day.

Jack’s face turns pale as he opens it, revealing a photo of Ronnie and Roxy together, smiling as if frozen in time. His hands tremble. His breathing stalls. It feels like a message — but from who?

The locket’s sudden appearance sends him spiraling emotionally. And as he follows the clues, darker secrets begin to unravel.

Meanwhile, Denise notices Jack’s strange behaviour. He lies to her, sneaks out, makes secret phone calls — raising suspicions that the ghosts of his past are clawing their way back into his present.

“Jack… what aren’t you telling me?” she asks, her voice cracking with dread.

But he can’t answer. Because he doesn’t know the truth himself.

Phil Mitchell Confronts the Past

Things grow even more unsettling when Phil receives an envelope shoved through the door at Peggy’s. Inside: a blood-stained scrap of fabric and a single sentence scrawled angrily across a torn page.

“You NEVER buried the truth.”

Phil’s reaction is immediate. Fury. Panic. And something he rarely shows: fear.

He burns the note in the kitchen sink — but not before Sam Mitchell sees it and demands answers. Phil refuses, howling at her to stay out of it. But Sam knows that look in his eye.

Something from the Mitchell sisters’ past has come crawling back to bite him.

And she isn’t going to stop digging.

A Shadowy Figure and a Christmas Warning

Throughout the week, a mysterious hooded figure appears repeatedly on CCTV around Walford. They stand watching The Vic… the Mitchell house… Jack’s home… disappearing every time someone gets close.

Kat Slater sees the figure outside in the pouring rain and swears the silhouette looks “far too familiar.”

Residents begin whispering. Fear spreads. Is this connected to the Mitchell sisters? Or someone pretending to be them?
