Bold & Beautiful Casts a Familiar Face as the ‘New’ Katie

If you thought Bold & Beautiful PR whiz Katie was miffed when she first heard that Forrester Creations had hired an outside firm to tackle

to the fallout from Luna-gate, wait till she finds her thunder stolen by her sorta replacement Robin this week. Amy Davidson, whom you’ll

recognize from her zillion primetime appearances but especially from her stint opposite Kaley Cuoco on 8 Simple Rules (below), is set to reprise her role.

8 SIMPLE RULES... FOR DATING MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER, Kaley Cuoco, Amy Davidson, 20002-present

As it is, Katie was so annoyed that Ridge and Brooke had signed on an outsider to handle the PR crisis that she complained to Bill. (Read the recap.) He, in turn, took it as yet another sign that his former and possibly future wife should tender her resignation, jump ship and come work for him at Spencer Publications. She maintained that she was happy where she was and felt appreciated.

That state of affairs promises to take a turn for the worse in the Tuesday, Dec. 2, episode (previewed here), when Katie is unnerved anew that Brooke isn’t supporting her the way she’d like to be. Wanna bet that by Friday, Katie has decided to throw in the towel and move over to Spencer? (How nice it must be to have all of your loved ones in charge of giant companies.)

The question then becomes, if Katie goes, will son Will go with her? Bill wants his chip off the ol’ block at Spencer, too, but Will isn’t likely to leave the workplace that he shares with girlfriend Electra. And frankly, why would he leave a job, anyway, that mostly requires him to stand around and gossip and/or make out with his boo?
