SkyShowtime lines up Yellowstone spin-off, new Star Trek dramas and holiday film slate

SkyShowtime has unveiled a packed slate of US series and studio movies for its 20+ European markets, including a new Yellowstone spin-off from Taylor Sheridan, multiple returning franchises and a run of Hollywood features premiering exclusively on the service.

The platform will be the exclusive home of Y: Marshals (Marshals: A Yellowstone Story), following Kayce Dutton as he joins an elite US

Marshals unit. It joins previously announced Sheridan dramas Dutton Ranch (working title), again starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser alongside Ed Harris and Annette Bening, and The Madison with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell.

On the film side, SkyShowtime is promising a strong holiday and post-Christmas window, with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning landing on 17 December, live-action How to Train Your Dragon on 25 December, family title Smurfs on 30 December, action comedy The Naked Gun on 14 January and horror sequel M3GAN 2.0 from 26 January.

Returning series include Dexter: Resurrection S2, Lioness S3, MobLand S2, The Agency: Central Intelligence S2, Sweetpea S2, Tulsa King S4, Yellowjackets S4 and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S4. New Star Trek series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, featuring Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti, will introduce a fresh class of cadets to the franchise.

New exclusives headed to the service include historical drama Amadeus, crime prequel Gomorrah – The Origins, thriller PONIES, The Death of Bunny Munro, detective drama Under Salt Marsh and mystery comedy The ’Burbs. They will sit alongside SkyShowtime’s growing slate of local originals, such as Swedish drama The Trio (Trion), Spanish thriller The Tribute (El Homenaje) and Polish series Pionek (working title), a continuation of Śleboda.
