Young & Restless’ Lucas Adams shares devastating news: “My sister was hit head on by a drunk driver.” #YR
We want to take a moment to send The Young and the Restless star Lucas Adams (Noah) our thoughts as his family rallies around his
sister Audrie and her husband in the wake of a horrific car wreck. The CBS soap actor posted a story on his official Instagram to share
details and a photo from the crash — a crash that could have been avoided had someone not gotten behind the wheel drunk.

“My sister was hit head-on by a drunk driver over the weekend,” Adams stated on social media. “Thankfully she is going to be OK but has a long road ahead of her as her hip and foot were broken.” He went on to explain that Audrie and her husband Josh have eight children and “could use all the help they can get to get through this.”

He also posted a shot of Audrie’s Venmo and added, “If you can or would like to support them, I know they would very much appreciate it.” He then alerted everyone that “sadly someone is trying to exploit the situation and created a fake account. If you are planning to donate, please be sure to choose ‘audriefarris’ all lowercase with one s.”

Adams’ first story showed a photo from the crash followed by a second screenshot of his sister’s correct Venmo account and a third slide showing the fake account. So again, please, as the actor stated, be sure if you are donating to use the one included above.
We wish Audrie and her husband the very best as they recover from this horrible ordeal and we are very thankful to hear that they are both going to be OK.
