EastEnders’ Ravi Gulati has issued Jack Branning with a terrifying threat, kicking off a major new blackmail plot.

While Jack and Ravi were both involved in Zoe’s accidental shooting, this week Jack set about planting the gun in Ravi’s flat and framing his enemy for the crime.

 

 

Ravi soon rumbled this plan and discovered the weapon stashed under his bed. He declared war on Jack – and soon afterwards told Denise that her partner shot Zoe.

Denise was reluctant to believe Ravi in today’s episode, but when she returned home to Jack, she immediately realised that he was telling the truth.

She was furious with Jack for his bare-faced lies, as he had previously promised that he had nothing to do with the shooting.

 

 

As he came clean about everything, Denise was horrified that Jack had attempted to get Ravi locked up, and a serious row unfolded between the couple.

With his relationship hanging by a thread, Jack confronted Ravi in the flat and entered into a physical fight before Priya put a stop to proceedings.

Ravi snapped at Priya when she tried to ask questions – but when Priya spotted him having a stern conversation with Denise in the street, she reached the final straw.

When Ravi returned to the flat, he found Priya packing her belongings and preparing to move out with the kids. In an emotional scene, Priya told Ravi that she didn’t trust him and had enough of his lies.

To stop her leaving, Ravi told Priya about the shooting, but twisted events slightly by saying that Jack pulled the trigger and he only witnessed the event.

Ravi vowed to finally go public with their rekindled romance, assuring Priya that he had big plans to provide for their family.

This plan soon became clear, when Ravi demanded £100,000 in cash from Jack, or else he would plant the gun and get him sent down.

“Don’t be stupid, Jack,” he warned. “You’re the one who should be scared of prison. So, what’s it going to be?”
