Emmerdale star announces exit as end for evil villain Celia is confirmed đ±đ±
And it wasnât just vulnerable teens that the evil duo had been targeting, as this weekâs special episode revealed that the pair had been exploiting helpless individuals and holding them prisoner in a derelict building.
The harrowing modern slavery storyline focused on Bear Wolf as he, and others, were offered lodgings by Ray in exchange for manual labour.

However, viewers can rest assured that Celia will soon be exiting the soap, as actor Jaye Griffiths has confirmed her âfiniteâ stint in the Dales. But will Aprilâs upcoming arrest lead to the villainâs downfall?
Addressing whether she knew the conclusion of the dark storyline when she first landed the role, Griffiths said: âI knew it was finite, which I am very sad about, because I would like to stay forever, but itâs such a strong arc that â yes. I could have just said that, yes.â

The actor shared her hope that the storyline will make viewers more aware of modern slavery and help them realise that âitâs not happening somewhere far, far away, itâs happening next door.â
âShe has a line to Ray, âwe never take localâ. You donât take people who will be missed, you take the waifs and strays, and you give them purpose, you give them routine, and that lulls them, and you donât give them any options,â Griffiths explained.
âI mean, itâs hideous. Itâs hideous. Sometimes, when I read the script, I think, âreally? Youâre going to make me say that?â Just when you think sheâs gone quite far enough, theyâll make me go a bit further! So yes, itâs horrendous. Hopefully, maybe conversations will start to be heard. Maybe a question will run through peopleâs minds.â
